Pacific Honda is seeking a proactive and
detail-oriented Lot/Inventory Manager to oversee the organization, appearance,
and efficiency of our dealership’s lot and inventory operations. In addition to
managing inventory, this role includes photographing vehicles and uploading
them to XMS360 through Impel, as well as coordinating with vendors to ensure
the timely reconditioning of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
- Track
and manage the dealership’s vehicle inventory, ensuring accuracy in all
records.
- Monitor
incoming and outgoing vehicle movements, including sales, trades, and
deliveries.
- Coordinate
with sales and service teams to optimize inventory placement for
efficiency and visibility.
Photography and Online
Management:
- Take
high-quality photos of vehicles for online listings, ensuring professional
presentation.
- Upload
photos and vehicle information onto One-Source and XMS360 using Impel
software.
- Ensure
all vehicle details are accurate and updated for online visibility.
Vendor Coordination:
- Communicate
and maintain relationships with vendors for vehicle reconditioning
processes, including detailing, repairs, and other services.
- Monitor
the status of reconditioning work to ensure vehicles are lot-ready in a
timely manner.
Lot Management:
- Maintain
an organized and visually appealing lot to enhance customer experience.
- Ensure
vehicles are parked, displayed, and aligned according to dealership
standards.
- Conduct
regular inspections of the lot to ensure safety and compliance.
General Duties:
- Assist
with vehicle check-ins, including verifying VINs and inspecting for
damage.
- Perform
minor maintenance tasks such as replacing stickers or ensuring vehicles
are fueled and ready for test drives.
- Support
dealership events or sales promotions by rearranging lot inventory as
needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous
experience in inventory management, automotive industry, or a related
field preferred.
- Strong
organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability
to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills for vendor and team coordination.
- Valid
driver’s license and a clean driving record.
