Dilawri Group of Companies - BC Region is currently looking to fill the position of a Graphic Designer (Temporary)
Job Summary
Reporting directly to the Senior
Graphic Designer, the Graphic Designer is an integral member of the National
Marketing team, responsible for designing and producing consistent,
high-quality, and brand-compliant digital and print creative assets (e.g.,
social, tactical, desktop/mobile, point-of-purchase, etc.) The position
requires keen attention to detail, a positive, flexible, and solution-oriented
approach, and exceptional interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
Primary
·
Design and produce consistent, high-quality,
and brand-compliant marketing assets (e.g., print materials, technical
drawings, digital content, social media posts, dealership materials, event
collateral, etc.) on time and according to required specifications.
·
Collaborate
with stakeholders and vendors to address ad hoc internal and external design requests.
·
Ensure creative briefs are
translated into fresh, compelling concepts/executions that support business
objectives.
·
Manage multiple projects
simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail and meeting
deadlines
·
Actively seek out and
implement opportunities to promote the brand.
·
Advise on best
practices and identify/implement opportunities to optimize each stage of the design process.
·
Analyze current marketing strategies and suggest improvements to ensure
designs align with campaign goals and target audiences.
·
Revise and adapt design briefs as necessary to meet the evolving needs
of projects or marketing strategies.
·
Perform miscellaneous tasks as
required to support National Marketing goals, based on management direction and
business priorities.
Secondary

Provide professional customer service and
support to all stakeholders

Follow established company policies and
procedures

Participate in meetings and training, as
required

Follow the Health & Safety Program and
observe provincial Occupational Health & Safety regulations
Qualifications
Education
·
Post-secondary diploma/degree in graphic
design or related field
·
Intermediate
to advanced experience with Adobe Creative Cloud programs (InDesign,
Illustrator, and Photoshop)
Skills
- A
solid understanding of marketing principles, including how design plays a
role in driving conversions, building brand awareness, and engaging with
target audiences.
- Keen
understanding of and skill in graphic design, layout, and execution using
Adobe Creative Cloud Programs (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop)
- Experienced
in digital design (i.e., email, desktop, mobile) with a strong
understanding of digital marketing and its integration with visual design
- Able to multitask, work, and
prioritize projects effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible team player,
multitasker, and creative problem-solver
- Effective and professional
interpersonal, communication, time-management, and collaboration skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
in design execution, with the ability to adapt to changing project needs
and marketing goals.
- Photo editing/retouching skills
- Pre-press production knowledge or
experience
- Proven ability to be a team
player, relationship builder, and company representative
- Proven excellence in design and
production
- Experience in FR an asset but not a requirement
- Experience with animation or video editing software (After Effects, Premiere Pro, etc.) is a plus but not a requirement
Experience
·
Two (2) or more years of experience in graphic
design
·
Automotive/dealership retail experience is an
asset
