Jaguar Land Rover Vancouver is currently looking to fill the position of a Detail Manager.
Essential Duties:
· Supervise
day-to-day operations of the vehicle detailing department
· Ensure
timely and high-quality preparation of customer and company vehicles
· Coordinate
vehicle flow and detailing schedules with sales and service departments
· Train,
coach, and mentor detailing staff to meet performance standards
· Conduct
regular performance evaluations and provide feedback
· Inspect
completed vehicles to ensure quality control and adherence to standards
· Address
customer and internal concerns regarding vehicle appearance
· Manage
detailing supplies, equipment, and inventory
· Maintain
accurate records of supply usage and orders
· Coordinate
vehicle deliveries and lot organization
· Maintain
cleanliness and organization of the detailing area and vehicle lot
· Assist in
developing and improving detailing procedures and best practices
· Perform
hands-on detailing as needed to support team operations.
· Prepare and
submit daily reports on departmental performance to management
· Carry out other duties as assigned by the Service Manager or General Manager
All successful applicants must possess the following qualities:
· Valid Class
5 Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
· Minimum 3
years of automotive detailing experience; 1–2 years in a supervisory or team
lead role preferred.
· Strong
background in customer service and staff supervision.
· Proficient
computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook; familiarity with ADP or similar
DMS software.
· Excellent
time management, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
· Strong
attention to details with a commitment to quality and safety.
