to fill the position of a Junior Service Advisor/Warranty Advisor.

Reporting to
the Service Manager, the Junior Service Advisor/Warranty Advisor is
responsible for promptly and courteously serving all service customers.
The Junior Service Advisor/Warranty Advisor will ensure they accurately
obtain all required information on repair orders, fully explain required work
and obtain proper authorization for the required work while maintaining focus
on Customer Satisfaction and Labor Sales.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Promptly meet and greet all clients in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Prepare facility for daily start of business when required.
- Process night drops.
- Handle client concerns and/or misunderstandings with courtesy and tact.
- Complete vehicle inspections.
- Obtain pre-authorization costs, parts availability, and payments.
- Review and monitor all appointment files, recommendations, scheduled maintenance, and check for previous service recommendations.
- Explain what service/repair is recommended to customers.
- Record call and authorization on hard copy of R.O.
- Note refusal of services on hard copy of R.O.
- Forward repair orders for proper dispatch to shop.
- Monitor repair process, check job status and update work in process.
- Monitor all repair orders from opening to closing and ensure that customers are updated on progress.
- Check vehicle for applicable warranty and repair coverage.
- If vehicle has been returned as a comeback, follow repeat repair procedure.
- Review all invoices with customers.
- Complete all manufacturer training and exams.
- Dispatch shuttle driver as required.
- Add/update customers/vehicles in database.
- Write purchase orders, as required.
- Maintain workstation in a clean & orderly manner.
- Review CSI monthly score and day to day performance.
- Review with the customer loaner policies and warranty details.
- Act as the liaison between customers, service advisors, and manufacturers to ensure smooth processing of warranty claims
- Review and verify warranty coverage based on manufacturer guidelines and customer information
- Communicate clearly with customers about warranty status, coverage, and timelines.
- Assist service advisors in preparing accurate documentation for warranty repairs
- Track claim approvals and escalate unresolved issues to the Service Manager
- Stay updated on manufacturer warranty policies, recalls, and service campaigns.
- Support the service team by answering warranty-related questions and helping with repair order accuracy.
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure proper documentation and diagnosis for warranty claims.
- Ensure all warranty repairs are performed in accordance with manufacturer standards
- Other related duties as assigned by management.
