Senior Accountant

Dilawri Group is now actively searching for a Senior Accountant to join our team at Thorncrest Ford.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for full cycle Accounting
- Reconciling schedules and bank statements
- Maintaining general ledgers
- Maintain management information reports and prepare financial statements
- Schedules and statements reconciliation
- Understanding of Internal Controls and their importance
- Expense analysis
- Establish and implement appropriate internal controls to help improve efficiency of operations
- GST, PST Filing Preparation
- Month end close procedures, quarterly, and year-end audit working papers
- Other related duties as assigned by management
Qualification:
- 3+ years of accounting experience at an Automotive Dealership would be an asset.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
- CPA Designation or near achievement
- Experience working with department managers to enhance controls and reduce expenses
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Be extremely organized and detail-oriented
- CDK and One-Eighty experience would be an asset
