|
North Vancouver Nissan is seeking a results‑driven and
experienced Sales Manager to support the General Manager in overseeing
all activities within the New and Used Sales Departments. This role is
responsible for planning, organizing, and managing sales operations, ensuring
sales teams meet performance targets, and maintaining the highest dealership
standards.This is a great opportunity, with a State of the Art Facility opening soon in the North Shore Automall. The Sales Manager will lead all training and development
initiatives for sales staff, maintain administrative accuracy, and uphold
dealership processes. Working closely with sales teams, departmental leaders,
and the General Manager, this role ensures strong customer satisfaction,
effective sales execution, and consistent achievement of departmental goals. Compensation for this position is commission based. |

Primary
Duties and Responsibilities |
|
Essential
Duties: ·
Establish
long‑ and short‑range goals for assigned sales staff. ·
Guide
salespeople in setting and achieving individual objectives. ·
Recommend
optimal new vehicle inventory based on sales rate and stock levels. ·
Set
gross profit and sales objectives and monitor weekly performance. ·
Assist
with forecasting, budgeting, and expense management for the New/Used Car
Department. ·
Communicate
and enforce dealership policies and procedures. ·
Conduct
daily one‑on‑one meetings and assist salespeople with customers. ·
Ensure
sales staff plan daily activities using CRM (calls, emails, appointments). ·
Hire,
train, motivate, and manage performance of all new/used vehicle sales
employees. ·
Evaluate
monthly sales performance and complete quarterly reviews. ·
Develop
individualized training and improvement plans. ·
Conduct
daily/weekly sales and manufacturer training sessions. ·
Support
programs to increase new/used car gross and F&I penetration. ·
Hold
sales staff accountable for CRM usage and prospecting efforts. ·
Coordinate
sales operations with Service, Parts, and Business Office. ·
Assist
in planning programs to support staff in reaching objectives. ·
Handle
sales staff concerns and recommend dismissal when necessary. ·
Review
customer follow-up and ensure planned contact through CRM. ·
Review
sales records to identify performance trends. ·
Support
dealership image through coordinated sales initiatives. ·
Assist
in advertising campaigns and promotions. ·
Collaborate
with other Sales Managers for professional development. |

Qualifications
Required |
|
All
successful applicants must possess the following qualities: ·
Proven
automotive sales management experience (new and/or used vehicles). ·
Strong
leadership and team‑building skills. ·
Excellent
communication, coaching, and interpersonal abilities. ·
Strong
understanding of dealership operations, sales processes, and inventory
planning. ·
Proficiency
with CRM systems and sales tracking tools. ·
Ability
to evaluate performance and create effective development plans. ·
Strong
organizational and time‑management skills. ·
Ability
to enforce policies, maintain accountability, and uphold high standards. ·
Strong
problem‑solving skills and a customer‑focused mindset. ·
Ability
