Position Overview
The Parts Advisor at Thorncrest Ford is responsible for supporting both internal (technicians, service department) and external customers (retail and wholesale) by helping them identify, locate, and order the correct automotive parts and accessories. You act as a key contact for parts sales, inventory coordination, and customer service.
Pay Rate: $36,608 - $45,000 + bonus
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Efficiently help customers choose parts and provide internal and external customers (retail and shop) with high-quality services
- Provide customers with information about accessory parts and specials
- Take orders for parts by telephone, technician counter, retail counter and wholesale accounts
- Organize and fill orders out of the stock
- Organize orders for shipping, delivery purposes, or daily pickup
- Help to stock all new parts on shelves and maintain parts properly and organized at all times
Qualifications Required:
- The enthusiasm to be part of one of the fastest growing automotive sales teams in the industry
- The aspiration to grow beyond this position
- Experience with Reynolds/CDK system preferred
- Wholesale experience an asset
- Good time management skills
- Dealership experience in a parts department preferred
