Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented
Journey Technician to join our team in Regina, Saskatchewan, in a full-time,
permanent role reporting directly to the Service Manager. This position is
responsible for performing diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, and vehicle
inspections in accordance with manufacturer standards while ensuring
high-quality workmanship and safety. The successful candidate will accurately
document all work, utilize MPI for inspections and estimates, and communicate
clearly with Service Advisors regarding required repairs and maintenance
recommendations. This role offers guaranteed hours and an opportunity to work
in a professional, team-oriented service environment with immediate start
available.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
·
Dedicated to quality
of workmanship, diagnostics, and maintenance repair as per required standards.
·
Reports all
mechanical or safety related deficiencies not noted on the repair order.
·
Accurately utilizes
MPI for 100% for all repair orders. Perform new vehicle PDI.
·
Diagnose/repair,
replace parts/components, perform service/maintenance to new and used vehicles
as per manufacturer standards.
·
Provides service
advisors summary of additional maintenance or required work that need to be
performed.
·
Performs road tests
to confirm repairs are completed satisfactorily.
·
Accurately records
the cause and correction on customer repair orders and completes the Technician
portion on MPI and related inspection forms.
·
Provides Service
Advisors with accurate parts and labour estimates utilizing MPI.
·
Maintains and follows
manufacturer warranty policies and procedures.
·
Guaranteed hours
·
1 permanent full-time
position to start as soon as possible
Qualifications Required
·
Journeyman required.
·
Requires a valid
driver’s license with a clean- drivers abstract.
·
Ability to carefully
and safely drive both standard and automatic vehicles.
·
Ability to lift and
carry heavy items and equipment such as tires, tools, and
equipment.
·
Focus on exceptional
customer service.
