Position Overview
Acura of Langley is seeking a Sales Consultant to
join our dynamic sales team. Reporting to the Sales Manager, this role plays a
key part in driving dealership growth by cultivating customer relationships,
promoting vehicle sales, and contributing to departmental performance goals.
The Sales Consultant will represent Dilawri’s commitment to exceptional guest
experience, product expertise, and a collaborative team culture.
This is a Commission Based position.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
·
Follow up on all sales leads from various
sources to maximize opportunity.
·
Meet and exceed individual and departmental
sales targets.
·
Promote new business opportunities through
prospecting and referral networks.
·
Deliver a superior customer experience by
understanding client needs and ensuring high satisfaction.
·
Maintain strong product knowledge for all
vehicle models; participate in available product training.
·
Set monthly sales and productivity goals and
develop plans to achieve them.
·
Build and maintain rapport with customers to
support long-term relationships.
·
Demonstrate effective negotiation skills to
support successful sales outcomes.
·
Accurately maintain customer and sales records
using computerized systems.
·
Adapt quickly to sales processes and market
changes within the automotive industry.
·
Follow through on leads and ensure timely
closing of sales.
·
Collaborate effectively with team members to
ensure strong overall dealership performance.
·
Uphold high levels of professionalism, work
ethic, punctuality, and reliability.
Qualifications Required
·
Strong customer service skills with excellent
verbal and written communication.
·
Proven ability to negotiate, make sound
decisions, and close sales effectively.
·
Ability to build and maintain positive customer
relationships.
·
High level of initiative with a self‑starter,
outgoing, and positive attitude.
·
Strong organizational and procedural skills;
ability to meet deadlines.
·
Quick adaptability to new processes and industry
developments.
·
Competent computer skills, including Internet
applications and MS Office.
·
Vehicle product knowledge is an asset;
manufacturer training is provided.
·
Previous automotive sales experience is an
asset.
·
Valid VSA License.
·
Valid British Columbia Driver’s License and a
current ICBC Driver’s Abstract.
·
Legally entitled to work in Canada.
