Position Overview
The Compound Lot Attendant plays a key operational role in ensuring Dilawri vehicles are maintained, organized, and presented to the highest standard. Reporting to the Logistic Manager, this position supports both sales and service teams by maintaining vehicle readiness, lot organization, and overall site cleanliness.
This is a full-time, on-site position working out of Coquitlam, BC (1050 United Blvd, Coquitlam, BC) with a regular schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00AM to 4:30PM. This role requires the ability to work outdoors year-round in varying weather conditions.
The expected pay for this position is $21.63 per hour.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
• Ensure all vehicles meet Dilawri’s delivery and presentation standards prior to display or customer delivery
• Clean, wash, and detail vehicles as required for showroom display or customer handover
• Start vehicles regularly to monitor battery health and recharge or boost batteries as needed
• Maintain organized, clearly arranged vehicle inventory across the compound and lot areas
• Keep vehicle interiors, exteriors, and work areas free of debris, garbage, and hazards
• Maintain clear delivery and access areas to support customer vehicle handovers
• Replenish and organize supplies and equipment at the end of each shift
• Operate assigned equipment in a safe and responsible manner
• Perform snow removal, sanding, and ice clearing during winter months, including clearing snow and ice from vehicles
• Support dealership operations by completing additional duties as assigned by management
Qualifications Required
Education & Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience working in an automotive, warehouse, or outdoor operations environment is considered an asset
Skills & Abilities
• Valid British Columbia Driver’s License with the ability to provide a current driver’s abstract
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions throughout the year
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality standards
• Ability to work independently and cooperatively within a team environment
• Physically capable of performing duties involving standing, bending, lifting, and walking for extended periods
• Reliable, punctual, and safety conscious
• Legally entitled to work in Canada
