Dilawri Group is now actively searching for a Service Concierge to join the team at Oakville Honda
The primary function of the Service
Concierge is to be administrator for incoming walk in traffic & answering
& properly directing inbound dealership calls through to the parts and
service department.
Pay Rate: $19/Hour
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers upon their arrival at
dealership.
- Answer all incoming calls promptly, and direct
call to appropriate individual.
- Handle general inquiries from callers.
- Communicate with all callers in a friendly,
efficient and professional manner and attempt to minimize the amount of
time they are placed on hold.
- Refer messages to correct party in a timely
manner.
- Perform vehicle walkarounds and inspections.
- Assist service porters with moving vehicles
through drive through.
- Collect payment from customers and issue receipts
for goods and services.
- Prepare invoices and record amounts
received.
- Provide cash refunds or issue credit memoranda to
customers for returned goods, as authorized by manager.
- Record/balance totals shown on cash register tapes
or computer records; ensure invoice amounts and payment methods
correspond; verify cash on hand to float.
- Handle customer complaints with integrity and
confidence and, if necessary, direct customers to Service Advisor or other
appropriate individuals.
- Process invoices.
- Operate credit card machines; verify balances at
end of day and advise manager immediately of any cash shortages.
- Follow close out procedures and final balancing at
end of shift
- Ensure work area is neat and clean and exhibit an
informed, professional approach with all customers.
- Perform clerical duties such as arranging for
couriers, proofreading, and assist other administrative departments as
necessary.
- Attend all department meetings.
- Follow all company and manufacturer policies,
directives and procedures.
- Perform any other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated excellent telephone demeanor and
ability to accurately record messages and information
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated pleasant, friendly manner
- Organizational ability and attention to detail
- Ability to take ownership of problems with a
positive attitude and bring them to completion
- Ability to remain calm and focused under all
circumstances to deliver exceptional service to customers
- Ability to work in a team environment to achieve
common goals
- Two (2) years of reception experience, or
equivalent
- Dealership experience preferred
- Valid Ontario Driver’s license with 3+ years of
driving experience
