Thorncrest Ford is
seeking an experienced, driven, and relationship-focused Commercial
Account Manager to lead the growth and development of our Medium Duty
commercial vehicle business.
This position will be responsible for developing
new commercial accounts, strengthening relationships with existing customers,
and representing Thorncrest Ford as a trusted transportation partner to
businesses requiring Medium Duty Ford vehicles and commercial fleet solutions.
The successful candidate will take ownership of the
sales process from prospecting and account development through vehicle
specification, ordering, delivery, and ongoing customer relationship
management.

Pay Rate: This
is a commission paying role with total earning potential of $100,000 and above.
Responsibilities:

Lead and grow Thorncrest Ford’s Medium
Duty and commercial vehicle sales business across the GTA.
·
Prospect, develop, and manage
commercial and fleet accounts, including businesses, contractors,
municipalities, and fleet managers.
·
Build strong customer relationships,
identify future vehicle and fleet opportunities, and achieve sales and gross
profit targets.
·
Understand Ford’s Medium Duty lineup,
Ford Pro programs, incentives, and commercial vehicle configurations to
recommend the right solutions
·
Manage the vehicle ordering, upfit,
production, and delivery process while keeping customers informed.

Collaborate with Sales, Fleet &
Commercial, Financial Services, Parts, Service, Accounting, and Ford
representatives to provide a complete customer experience.

Maintain accurate customer and sales
activity in the CRM and identify opportunities to grow Parts and Service
business.
Qualifications:
- Previous
Ford sales experience is required, with a focus on Medium Duty trucks and
commercial transportation.
- Demonstrated
knowledge of Ford’s Medium Duty and commercial vehicle lineup.
- Proven
ability to prospect and develop new business rather than relying
exclusively on inbound opportunities.
- Strong
understanding of relationship-based and consultative selling.
- Excellent
communication, negotiation, presentation, and customer-service skills.
- Strong
organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple customers,
orders, and delivery timelines simultaneously.
- Self-motivated,
accountable, and results-oriented.
- Comfortable
developing relationships with business owners, fleet managers, and senior
decision-makers.
- Valid
Ontario driver’s licence and the ability to travel locally to meet
customers and prospects.
This position will specialize in Ford Medium Duty
transportation sales and will be compensated at a 40% commission rate.
