customer-focused Sales Consultants to join our opening team. This is a

The Opportunity
Dilawri Group in Ontario is actively
seeking Sales Consultants to join the opening team at Kia Vaughan.
Compensation:
This is a commission-based position.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Sales
Consultant will guide customers through the vehicle-purchase process while
delivering a professional, transparent, and personalized experience. The
successful candidate will develop strong customer relationships, maintain
excellent product knowledge, and actively contribute to the dealership’s sales
and customer satisfaction objectives.
Candidates must be available to work evenings and
Saturdays as required.
Responsibilities
- Welcome
customers and identify their individual vehicle needs, preferences, and
budget.
- Guide
customers through the complete vehicle-purchase process, from the initial
consultation through delivery and follow-up.
- Provide
customers with accurate and detailed information about available vehicles,
features, pricing, and manufacturer programs.
- Conduct
professional vehicle presentations, demonstrations, and test drives.
- Follow
up promptly and consistently on leads received through telephone, email,
online, and walk-in inquiries.
- Prospect
for new business and build a customer base through referrals, networking,
community involvement, and other approved activities.
- Establish
monthly sales and productivity goals and develop plans to achieve them.
- Meet
or exceed individual and departmental sales, gross-profit, and customer
satisfaction targets.
- Maintain
current knowledge of Kia vehicles, features, technology, incentives, and
competitive products.
- Participate
in all required product, sales, compliance, and manufacturer training.
- Accurately
document customer activity and maintain complete, current records in the
dealership’s customer relationship management system.
- Work
collaboratively with Sales Managers and the Finance Department to support
an efficient purchasing and delivery experience.
- Maintain
ongoing relationships with customers and conduct appropriate post-delivery
follow-up.
- Respond
to customer questions and concerns promptly, professionally, and
respectfully.
- Ensure
compliance with OMVIC requirements, manufacturer standards, company
policies, and all applicable legislation.
- Represent
Kia Vaughan and Dilawri professionally within the dealership and the
community.
Qualifications
- Previous
automotive sales experience is preferred.
- Valid
OMVIC registration is required.
- Valid
Ontario driver’s licence with at least three years of licensed driving
experience and a clean driver’s abstract.
- Passion
for sales, customer service, and the automotive industry.
- Strong
communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability
to establish trust and build lasting relationships with customers.
- Professional,
positive, and solutions-oriented approach.
- Self-motivated
and accountable, with a strong desire to achieve results.
- Ability
to manage multiple leads, customers, and follow-up activities effectively.
- Comfortable
using customer relationship management systems and other sales technology.
- Ability
to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Willingness
to participate in ongoing product and sales training.
- Availability
to work evenings and Saturdays as required.
