Position Overview 

The Dilawri Group of Companies is currently seeking a Warranty Administrator to join our team and support all warranty-related activities with the luxury vehicle manufacturer, Audi.

This position offers flexible working hours with hybrid on-site/remote capability, to be determined by management and subject to the needs of the business.

 

The expected annual salary for this position is $60,000.00 - $75,000.00. 

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities 

·      Warranty claim assessment, coding, invoicing, correction, and timely submission.

·      Adherence to manufacturer's warranty latest policies and ensuring compliance to them.

·      Training all relevant staff on warranty procedures within their position.

·      Reviewing warranty credits and posting them to accounting.

·      Assisting with payment discrepancy analysis using the warranty schedule and reporting to management.

·      Communicating payment discrepancies, logging warranty deficiencies from staff and reporting to management on a weekly basis.

·      Communicating short-payments with management and appealing them where justified within the allowed time frame.

·      Ensuring that warranty return parts are properly tagged, shelved, and secured in the warranty returns room, returned on time and scrapped in a timely manner.

·      Attending any training courses that are job-related by direction of the manufacturer or management.

     ·       Ensuring that the maximum amount of warranty is processed, claimed and work orders closed weekly and by every month-end.

           ·      Ensuring that the dealership is prepared for a successful warranty audit (<2% infraction rate) at any given time and supporting the dealership throughout the audit process when it takes place


Qualifications Required 

Education & Experience

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in any discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of two (2) years of warranty administration experience, preferably within an automotive dealership environment

Skills & Abilities

  • Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics or the ability to quickly understand automotive systems and components
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive working relationships across departments
  • Customer-focused mindset with a desire to exceed expectations
  • Proficient with dealership management systems and standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office)

  • Legally entitled to work in Canada
