ABOUT THE ROLE
·
Dedicated to
quality of workmanship, diagnostics, and maintenance repair as per required
standards.
·
Reports all
mechanical or safety related deficiencies not noted on the repair order.
·
Accurately
utilizes MPI for 100% for all repair orders. Perform new vehicle
PDI.
·
Diagnose/repair,
replace parts/components, perform service/maintenance to new and used vehicles
as per manufacturer standards.
·
Provides
service advisors summary of additional maintenance or required work that need
to be performed.
·
Performs road
tests to confirm repairs are completed satisfactorily.
·
Accurately
records the cause and correction on customer repair orders and completes the
Technician portion on MPI and related inspection forms.
·
Provides
Service Advisors with accurate parts and labour estimates utilizing MPI.
·
Maintains and
follows manufacturer warranty policies and procedures.
·
Guaranteed
hours.
·
1 permanent
full-time position to start as soon as possible.
ABOUT YOU
·
3rd year,
4th year, Journeyman and/or equivalent experience required.
·
Requires a
valid driver’s license with a clean- drivers abstract.
·
Ability to
carefully and safely drive both standard and automatic vehicles.
·
Ability to lift
and carry heavy items and equipment such as tires, tools, and
equipment.
·
