Regional Subprime Manager

Dilawri Group of Companies (BC Region) is
currently looking to fill a position of a Regional Subprime Manager.
Essential Duties:
- Offering vehicle financing and insurance to customers and providing
them with a thorough explanation of aftermarket products, extended
warranties and a complete explanation of manufacturer and dealership
service procedures and policies.
- Seeking new lending institutions and maintaining good working
relationships to secure competitive interest rates and financing programs.
- Processing financing and leasing deals accurately, securing approval
through financial sources and through proper Canadian, provincial and
corporate channels.
- Maintain a current knowledge of manufacturer products, rebates,
financing, leasing and incentive programs.
- Understanding and complying with Canadian, provincial and local
regulations that affect the new and used-vehicle finance departments.
- Creating and maintaining a program with the sales department that
will ensure all new sales are referred to the F&I department.
- Work with consumers and sub-prime auto lenders to secure financing
while maximizing customer satisfaction.
- Perform credit interviews and prepare credit applications. Verify
accuracy of all material information on the credit application and submit
to lender in a timely manner.
- Evaluate new lender programs, rehash deals with lenders and work all
deals diligently.
- Analyze credit reports, be able to recognize a conventional deal and
turn over accordingly.
- Other duties as required by your manager.
All successful applicants must possess the following
qualities:
- 5+ years of experience in automotive dealerships sub-prime
department.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Be extremely organized.
- Be self-motivated.
- Excellent judgment and problem solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation and relationship-building
skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
- Ability to handle and resolve customer issues or concerns promptly
and professionally.
- Working knowledge of One Eighty Software.
- Valid VSA license.
