Regional Subprime Manager

Dilawri Group of Companies (BC Region) is currently looking to fill a position of a Regional Subprime Manager.

Essential Duties:­­

  • Offering vehicle financing and insurance to customers and providing them with a thorough explanation of aftermarket products, extended warranties and a complete explanation of manufacturer and dealership service procedures and policies.
  • Seeking new lending institutions and maintaining good working relationships to secure competitive interest rates and financing programs.
  • Processing financing and leasing deals accurately, securing approval through financial sources and through proper Canadian, provincial and corporate channels.
  • Maintain a current knowledge of manufacturer products, rebates, financing, leasing and incentive programs.
  • Understanding and complying with Canadian, provincial and local regulations that affect the new and used-vehicle finance departments.
  • Creating and maintaining a program with the sales department that will ensure all new sales are referred to the F&I department.
  • Work with consumers and sub-prime auto lenders to secure financing while maximizing customer satisfaction.
  • Perform credit interviews and prepare credit applications. Verify accuracy of all material information on the credit application and submit to lender in a timely manner.
  • Evaluate new lender programs, rehash deals with lenders and work all deals diligently.
  • Analyze credit reports, be able to recognize a conventional deal and turn over accordingly.
  • Other duties as required by your manager.

All successful applicants must possess the following qualities:

  • 5+ years of experience in automotive dealerships sub-prime department.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Be extremely organized.
  • Be self-motivated.
  • Excellent judgment and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team.
  • Ability to handle and resolve customer issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Working knowledge of One Eighty Software.
  • Valid VSA license.
