looking to fill the position of Marketing Event Lead.
Job Summary
Reporting directly to the Director,
Retail Marketing, the Marketing & Experiential Lead, BC Region is
responsible for managing, developing, and executing all experiential and
traditional marketing initiatives, supporting customer retention and lead
generation (sales, service, parts) for the ultra-luxe brands/dealerships under
their purview. As the primary point of contact for those brands/locations, this
role requires close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
agencies, and vendors to develop and implement effective yearly marketing
plans, monthly tactical campaigns, experiential activations, sponsorships,
digital updates, social media strategies, and other ad hoc tasks.
Other responsibilities
include staying updated on best practices, delivering best-in-class customer
experiences, and remaining informed about Dilawri- and OEM-mandated brand
guidelines. The position requires strong attention
to detail, strategic thinking, a positive, flexible, and solution-oriented attitude,
and exceptional interpersonal skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
•
Act as the day-to-day marketing contact for designated ultra-luxe
dealerships/brands
•
Manage events/experiential initiatives for dealerships as well as
the BC Region
•
Participate in OEM-mandated marketing meetings and offsite events
•
Develop & execute yearly marketing plans for each dealership
•
Align with each dealership’s General Manager on monthly vehicle
priorities/promotions; submit robust briefs for creative executions that
support sales & service programs
•
Manage digital
advertising programs (TRFFK) & SEO requirements
•
Manage monthly advertising-performance
reviews
•
Manage local search platform content (i.e., Google Business
Profile, Bing, Yelp)
•
Oversee and/or execute all experiential/sponsorship requirements
•
Review analytics and reporting, and provide insights to relevant
stakeholders
•
Manage all media buys (e.g., print, radio, etc.)
•
Manage budgets, invoices, & coop requirements
•
Manage social media accounts, including organic posting &
reporting
•
Perform monthly dealership audits (in-store experience & websites)
•
Maintain clear lines of communication with National marketing about,
e.g., store-level activations, new partnerships, donations, etc.
• Miscellaneous dealership support
Secondary
- Provide professional customer service and support to all stakeholders
- Follow establuished company policies and procedures
- Participate in meetings and training, as required
- Follow Health & Safety Program rules, as well as provincial Occupational Health & Safety regulations
Qualifications
Education
· Post-secondary education in Marketing,
PR, or related subject(s)
Skills
- Keen understanding of marketing best-practices
- Experience writing copy for a wide range of purposes
- Experience creating, publishing, and delivering content for targeted audiences, including through online platforms and email campaigns
- Familiarity with the process of developing and posting content for social media channels (i.e., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube)
- Knowledge of and experience in SEO, Google Ads
- Experience managing partnership/sponsorship activations, including events
- Able to multitask and prioritize projects effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible team player, multitasker, and creative problem-solver
- Strong attention to detail
- Proven ability to be a team player, relationship builder, and company representative
Experience
- Three (3) years of marketing, PR, or related experience
- Experience managing and guiding a team/agency partner(s)
- Automotive/dealership retail experience is an asset
